Hi, I am Saki. I am a freshman at Ritsumeikan univ, studying international business. I love playing volleyball and dancing, how about you? I’ve been to the United States for a year to study abroad. I stayed in Oregon but I’ve also been to NY and Florida, too. I am so glad to have an opportunity to talk to you through this project. I hope if we could encourage each other to improve our Japanese/English skills. In Japan, sales tax has increased from 5% to 8%. But I also heard that the government in USA has serious problem on spending plan. What do you think they should do? I’m so excited to have your reply. Talk to you soon, bye.
Hey Saki. I enjoy tennis and going to the gym (I am trying to get muscular). I have not been to Japan, although I would like to study abroad there at some point. My Japanese is limited, not nearly as good as your English is, so I would rather type as much as I can by myself without using a translator. I would also like to use this opportunity to improve our Japanese/English skills. I am sorry to hear about the Japanese sales tax. US political issues are very complex. I believe the problems you are talking about began all the way back in the 1980s. I do not know what the government to do. I am an uninformed citizen. Next time I will attempt to write more Japanese than English. Talk to you later (ttyl).
